Lark house holiday home is set against the mountain, and coupled with the stunning vistas over False Bay, it's the perfect getaway. The house has a natural fynbos garden with direct access to hiking trails which form a part of the Table Mountain National Park, a world heritage site.
Enjoy whale-watching (in season) from the decks or visit the beaches close by. Lark House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to several tourist attractions. Our house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people (max 6 adults).
Lark House boasts three decks, a lower deck with braai (BBQ) and picnic bench, an upper deck with outdoor seating, where you can relax with your book or enjoy a drink. Both these decks have beautiful views over False Bay. The third deck is a secluded garden deck with lovely mountain views.
The house has private parking, two smart TVs (with access to Netflix, YouTube etc), board games and inclusive Wi-Fi. We also have battery power backup: the lights, TV and Wi-Fi will stay on during load shedding (power outages). We have two bedrooms downstairs and a spacious loft area upstairs with two single beds and one double bed, which is especially ideal for families with children.

"It is a beautiful house, and the views are breathtaking. The house was fully kitted, in fact over and above. Everything you need to feel like home away from home. I love clean, neat, minimalist and earthy decor which describes this home perfectly. The dishwasher was my saving grace and I have officially decided I need to invest in one for myself. It made all the difference to cleaning while on vacation. Location was super, and it was easy to zip down to the beach and shops, and then quickly pack up to head home for a quick lunch. Lots to do in the area but that's why we love booking deep south. The top floor was ideal for the 3 kids. They were obsessed with having their own floor and I am afraid you lifted the bar for my holiday housing going forward for them. How do I top that loft room? Super safe, enough entertainment and space for them to not be in each others faces. My favourite thing though was the key to the mountain. You should postcard that! The hikes were just picture perfect. " - Tamsyn and family, March 2021

"Everything about this premises was outstanding. The hosts were fantastic and welcoming. The house was extremely clean and very well kept. It has everything you could possibly require on your trip. The views were outstanding and im so terribly sad we could not stay a bit longer to enjoy more of it. We will definitely be coming back in summer! Close to the beach as well as shops. Great for hiking. The mountain is literally your back yard. Excellent service and hospitality all round and very safe. What a gem!!!""We had the most relaxing and amazing time. The area is stunning, the hikes beautiful and the house feels like home. Our day trips to several beaches, the penguins on Boulders Beach, Simons's Town and Fish Hoek were all within easy driving distance. We also tasted some lovely wines at Cape Point Vineyards. All in all, we had a memorable week."

"Thank you for sharing your charming Lark House with us for one unforgettable weekend. All the home comforts in the beautiful house and lovely personal touches in every room to make one's stay extra special. And the ever-changing view over False Bay! Wow, wow! The only negative about our stay? The weekend was way too short! We will have have to return to attempt the mountain trail that is right on your doorstep."
- Neels and Lorette, February 2021"A taste of heaven. We loved everything, the host was extremely welcoming, the house was perfect, exactly what we have been promised and what we needed."
